Alice Kolb eagerly welcomes the writing craft back into her life after a sabbatical from copy deadlines and a strong focus on her other career, teaching. A rediscovery of Writer's League of Texas and the opportunity to connect to WOW (such a privilege!) has put energy back into her pen. Alice's daily goal is encouraging women through her articles, and maybe -- another book, the Bible, needlework and teaching. Blessed to be a happy wife, mother and grandmother, she has a past writing window focused on numerous magazine sewing how-to's (Threads, Creative Needle, Traditional Quilter, etc.) and two books, Sashiko by Machine (1990) and Sew Crazy (2001).
